Some Of The Techniques Used In Feng Shui

One of the most ancient forms of geomancy in the world is the multi-millennial practice known as Feng shui which originated in China and dates as far back as 3500 years ago.

You should be able to determine the interaction between the person and the environment he dwells in to properly apply this method. Important to this practice is finding where the essential qi is located rearranging objects outdoors or indoors of your household or even in the place where you work in order for qi to flow freely and endlessly in the space so that positive energy can affect the various aspects of your life.

The Wu Hsing or the five phases of Feng Shui depend on the five elements of wood, water, metal, earth, and fire.

The manner this technique is implemented depends on the balance on every one of these elements in the space and room you live that will bring about the best qi. If a balance of even just one element is not attained, it will bring in negative qi into the person’s environment and can affect the person in various ways.

The flying star technique is perhaps the most difficult Feng Shui method to apply. This technique needs to consider the outdoor environment of your home or place of work, a detailed plan of your floor architecture, and the date your place of work or home was assembled.

Being the most difficult Feng Shui technique, it is the most accurate and typically requires the skill and experience of Feng Shui master.

The Ba Shai or eight mansions technique is Feng Shui’s most used application. In this style, the directions that need to be avoided and those that are effective need to be determined in order to attract positive qi in your environment. From ancient times to the present, the benefits of Feng Shui have been reported and extolled by countless number of people which is the reason why it is still widely popular today as it was thousands of years ago.
